Spring Hill High School is part of the residential childcare company ‘Thoughts of Others Ltd’. The school was first registered and approved by Ofsted in August 2005, primarily for the young people who were looked after within ‘Thoughts of others Ltd’. We are also a registered examination centre and offer GCSEs, Functional Skills, Entry Levels, Asdan and Duke of Edinburgh courses.
We are now accepting day students, who are identified as having complex SEN needs and social, emotional and behavioural needs.
The family social model and use of small sites allows us to work positively with young people for whom school has previously not been a constructive experience. We provide a personalised learning framework and a curriculum for each student. We follow the National Curriculum and aim to support all our students to gain appropriate qualifications before they leave us.
We work closely with parents and carers to make sure that there is consistency in approach for our students and that we can celebrate their successes in partnership with their homes.
